Day 01

 Day 01 – Airport > Negombo

DAY 02

Day 02 – Negombo > Habarana

• After breakfast proceed to Habarana and check in to the hotel

• In the evening enjoy an elephant back ride safari which brings in multifaceted joys. The majestic beast, the locations in close proximity to the cultural attractions and the terrain rich with bird life all add up to bring in memorable experiences to the tourists holidaying in Sri Lanka. Elephant Back Safaris are one of the newest and most thrilling safari experiences in Sri Lanka. These Elephant Back Safari not only make it possible to view wildlife from the back of an elephant, but perhaps more importantly, provide the unique opportunity to share a day in the life of the elephant.

DAY 03

Day 03 – Habarana > Polonnaruwa > Habarana

DAY 04

Day 04 – Habarana > Trincomalee

• After breakfast, proceed to Trincomalee
  Trincomalee is a port city situated on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The city is built on a peninsula which divides the inner and outer harbours. Historically referred to as ‘Gokanna’ or ‘Gokarna’, it has been a sea port that has played a major role in maritime and international trading history of Sri Lanka. The Bay of Trincomalee’s harbour is renowned for its large size and security; unlike every other in the Indian sea, it is accessible to all types of craft in all weathers. The beaches are used for surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. The city also has the largest Dutch fort in Sri Lanka.

DAY 05

Day 05- Trincomalee

DAY 06

Day 06 – Trincomalee > Dambulla > Matale > Kandy

• After breakfast, proceed to Matale via Dambulla Dambulla rock temple which was built by king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings, is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 metres.

• Proceed to Matale
• Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Here, clients could see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed.
• Thereafter proceed to Kandy Check into Hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 07

Day 07 – Kandy > Pinnawala > Kandy

• After breakfast proceed to Pinnawala
• Visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage en route. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – is a home for about 60 elephants (out of which around 50 are baby elephants) found abandoned or orphaned in the wild, They are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authority. The best time for your visit is at 9 in the morning, when you will have the opportunity of seeing these ‘babes’ being bottle-fed. You could also see the elephants having their daily baths at a river close by.

• In the evening do a Kandy city tour
• Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name “Kandy” conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. Thereafter witness a cultural show.

• Return to Hotel for overnight stay

DAY 08

Day 08 Kandy Peradeniya Tea Plantation > Nuwara Eliya

• After breakfast proceed to Peradeniya
• Peradeniya botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.

• Proceed to Nuwara Eliya via a tea plantation
• Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.

• Check into Hotel for overnight stay

DAY 09

Day 09  Nuwara Eliya > Bentota

• After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya

• Visit Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lankas most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lankas tea country producing a significant share of the world s best tea. Sri Lanka s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia.

• There after proceed to Bentota
• Arrive & Check into Hotel for overnight stay

DAY 11

Day 11 Bentota > Galle > Mirissa > Bentota

• After breakfast proceed to Galle
• Galle was once the chief port of Ceylon. It is still well known for hand-made lace. You can also visit the Galle Fort (spanning 90 acres) which was originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663. This is a World Heritage Site. Optional dolphin and whale watching

• Sri Lanka is situated within the International Whaling Commission’s protected zone in the Indian Ocean. Of the 80 species of cetaceans observed and identified worldwide, 26 are found in the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal
